Intensive Behavior Support

Intensive Behavior Support

Our Intensive Behavior Support Program is designed for children ages 2 to 5 with Autism who need extra support with communication, behavior, and engagement. We use Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI), a proven, play-based approach that blends developmental and behavioral strategies.

Your child will work with trained and experienced Behavioral Analysts in-home or in their community setting to build meaningful skills in a way that feels natural and fun. We partner with families to reduce challenging behaviors and help children thrive in everyday routines.

How It Makes a Difference

Traditional behavior programs often focus on repetitive tasks and compliance—teaching children what to do, but not always why or how it fits into their everyday life. At Bridging Beginnings, we use Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI) because they are proven to be more effective for young children with Autism or related developmental disabilities.
NDBI combines the structure of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with child-led, play-based interactions that support how young children naturally learn—through relationships, curiosity, and meaningful routines.

Research shows that NDBI helps children under age 5 with Autism or related disabilities build foundational skills in communication, social interaction, and flexible thinking. A review by Schreibman et al. (2015) highlights that NDBIs support children in learning to think, relate, and act in everyday environments—leading to stronger developmental outcomes.
With NDBI, your child learns through connection, not just correction—and you’ll be an active partner in the process every step of the way.
