Bridging Beginnings started as an early intervention program, dedicated to supporting infants and toddlers with developmental delays. But as we worked with families, we quickly realized that children didn’t just need support in early intervention—they needed guidance through all the key transitions from birth to five.
Some families missed the early intervention window and were searching for ways to support their child’s development. Others had received early intervention services but found that their children still had gaps in social communication, emotional regulation, play, and cognitive skills, making it harder for them to engage in preschool, build friendships, or fully participate in everyday activities. Parents were often left navigating these transitions on their own, unsure of what came next.
That’s why Bridging Beginnings exists—to provide ongoing support for children and families through all early childhood transitions, from birth to five. Whether a child is at risk, just starting to show developmental delays, moving beyond early intervention, preparing for preschool, or needing extra support to engage in everyday experiences, we are here to help.
Our focus is on strengthening play skills, fostering social communication, building emotional development, and supporting thinking and problem-solving—the essential skills that help children learn, connect, and thrive. For families looking for answers, for children who need extra support, for parents who want to feel confident in guiding their child’s development—Bridging Beginnings is here to walk alongside you, every step of the way.

At Bridging Beginnings, we empower families and caregivers with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to nurture early learning and development for children with disabilities and/or developmental delays from birth to five. Through relationship-based, play-centered, and inclusive approaches, we help build strong foundational skills in communication, social-emotional development, executive functioning, and early learning. Our goal is to bridge the gap between early intervention and school readiness, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in their home, school, and community.
We envision a world where every child—regardless of their developmental journey—has access to the support and resources they need to reach their fullest potential. By equipping families and caregivers with the confidence and skills to foster learning in everyday moments, we create inclusive environments that celebrate each child’s strengths, enhance their growth, and set the stage for lifelong success.
