Bridging Beginnings Early Intervention Program is a part of California’s Early Start system, providing specialized services for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or disabilities. We partner with the Department of Developmental Services and Regional Centers to ensure that families receive the early support they need to help their child reach important developmental milestones.
Our approach is rooted in family-centered, relationship-based practices, recognizing that parents and caregivers are a child’s first and most important teachers. We use a Family-Guided Routines-Based Intervention (FGRBI) model, which focuses on helping caregivers embed learning opportunities into everyday interactions, routines, and play. Rather than isolated therapy sessions, we work alongside families to integrate strategies naturally into the home and community environments where children feel most comfortable—whether during mealtime, playtime, bath time, or outings with family.
Early intervention plays a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. By providing specialized support during the critical early years, children can build essential skills, and caregivers can feel more confident in guiding their child’s progress. Integrating intervention strategies into everyday routines helps create a natural learning environment, fostering meaningful engagement and long-term success.
